The pseudosphere has constant negative curvature; i.e., it maintains a constant concavity over its entire surface. Unable to be shown in its entirety in an illustration, the pseudosphere tapers to infinity in both directions away from the central disk. The pseudosphere was one of the first models for a non-Euclidean space.
